Infrastructure
The construction project of the second Rantau Panjang-Sungai
Golok bridge which will boost connectivity between Malaysia
and Thailand as well as the economy in northern Kelantan and
southern Thailand.
Construction is expected to begin in early 2025 and be
completed by the end of 2026.
Kelantan Integrated River Development Project (PLSB) Phase 1 in
Bandar Baru Tunjong, Kota Bharu, Kelantan.
Includes flood mitigation, environmentally friendly drainage and
Living River.
Covering the districts of Kota Bharu, Machang and Tumpat.
The cost amounts to RM699 million.
Reduce the risk of flooding by around 80 percent.
The government approved RM100 million to improve border
security facilities in Kedah, Perlis and Kelantan.
