An initiative of the Ministry of Education Malaysia (KPM) to
address the problem of student dropout.
Will benefit 83,752 students across 3,458 schools.
The allocation of RM76 million was utilised through the implementation
of the Sekolah Menengah Integrasi Sains Tahfiz (SMISTA) construction
project in Bukit Jalil, Kuala Lumpur.
Introduction of the Malaysian Tahfiz Certificate 2.0 (STM 2.0) to improve
the integrated assessment system to recognise the memorisation
of the 30 juzuk al-Quran as well as aspects of employment and life
through Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET).
