RODUCTION
The Prime Minister’s Department (JPM) was established in 1957 following the abolition of
the office of the Secretary-General.
The primary objective of JPM is to ensure that all matters pertaining to administration, finance, employment, services, customs and maintenance are carried
out in accordance with regulations and current directives.
Among the key function of JPM includes: ACTIVITIES &
ACHIEVEMENTS
1. To monitor and coordinate all government AWARDS
policies and their implementation;
HRMIS Key Performance Indicator (KPI) Excellence Award 2018
2. To supervise and coordinate all activities
of the divisions and departments and; Financial Management Excellence Award Based on the
Accountability Index of 2018 - 5 Star Achievement
To provide secretariat services to several Public Sector Conducive Ecosystem (EKSA) - Excellent Category
3. Cabinet Committees and National Security Protection Special Award 2019
Committees. NATIONAL ORANG ASLI CONVENTION 2019
National Orang Asli Convention 2019 held on 22 April 2019 at the Putrajaya
International Convention Center was to discuss on the issues facing
200,000 Orang Asli and to find solutions to address the problem.
Taking “Upholding the Rights of the Orang Asli” as the theme,
the convention focused on seven key issues affecting the Orang Asli
community, including land matters, education, health, economy, leadership,
infrastructure and culture.
