of 31 December 2019, a total of 223,522 beneficiaries had undergone
health screening at 1,633 registered private clinics and 895 government
health clinics nationwide. The close collaboration between public health
centers and private clinics are also part of the Government’s efforts to
increase health service coverage as an intricate institution for the benefit of
the people.
The Health Minister visited the people from PeKa B40 programme at Port Dickson,
Negeri Sembilan on 6 July 2019.
For medical device assistance benefits, a number of 4,298 applications
with cost of RM18.4 million, a number of 1,144 applications for incentives
of cancer treatment with the cost of RM343,200 and a number of 5,159
applications for transportation incentives with totaling RM584,563
were approved for all eligible beneficiaries.
