RODUCTION
The Ministry of Youth and Sports (KBS) has set out several important initiatives and directions in
the ministry with the first gold medal for Malaysia in the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games, Women in
Sports, Sports Infrastructure Development Nationwide, Sports Hospital and Establishment and
Rugby Stadium Construction.
Youth empowerment efforts will also continue to focus on the goal of producing skillful youth in line with the IR4.0 Industrial Revolution. This initiative is
intended to support the Shared Prosperity Vision (SPV) that initiates by 2030.
ACTIVITIES &
ACHIEVEMENTS
MALAYSIA FUTURE LEADER SCHOOL (MFLS)
MFLS is a new programme that were designed to produce youth leaders
who can contribute as strategic partners in country development and have
the potential to play an international role as well as to build more visionary
and a high quality youth generation.
In addition, the MFLS program was also created following the idea of
Prime Minister YAB Tun Dr. Mahathir Mohamad when invited to deliver
a speech at the Japan Future Leaders School on 7 August 2018 stating –
“all countries including Malaysia should follow the Japanese Government
by establishing a special entity for the development of leadership among
youths”.
