Prime Minister in accordance with
Articles 40(2)(a) and 43(2)(a) of the
Federal Constitution.
The swearing-in took place at Balai
Singgahsana Kecil (Minor Throne
Room), National Palace on 1st March
2020 at 10.33 a.m. YAB Tan Sri Dato‘
Haji Muhyiddin bin Haji Mohd. Yassin
takes oath as 8th Prime Minister before
His Majesty Seri Paduka Baginda Yang
di-Pertuan Agong Al-Sultan Abdullah
Ri’ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah,
later signed the instruments of
appointment, witnessed by Chief
Secretary to the Government, YBhg.
Tan Sri Dato‘ Seri Mohd Zuki bin Ali and
Chief Justice, The Right Honourable
Tun Tengku Maimun binti Tuan Mat.
