Meeting Of Safety Control And Private Agency Services Industry Council
YBhg. Dato' Seri Alwi bin Hj. Ibrahim, Secretary-General of the Home Ministry
officiated the meeting with the Safety Control Service Industry and Private
Services Industry in conjunction with the briefing on renewal of Private Agency
license for 2019 at Kompleks D Auditorium, Putrajaya on 25 October 2018.
During the meeting, YBhg. Dato' Seri Alwi bin Hj. Ibrahim informed that KDN has
implemented various initiatives and programmes under the Security Control
Services Industry Renewal Plan aimed at improving the services and image of the
security services industry in the country including continuing the implementation
of the Certified Security Guard (GSG) Training Program to enhance the image
and quality of local security guards.
He also announced the change of name from Malaysian Security Services
Association (PPKKM) to Malaysian Association of Security Industry (PIKM).
