Delivery Of Citizenship Approval Letter
YB Tan Sri Dato' Haji Muhyiddin bin Haji Mohd. Yassin, Minister of Home Affairs
presented the Citizenship Approval Letter to 200 recipients from Selangor, Negeri
Sembilan, Kuala Lumpur and Putrajaya on 25 October 2018.
The ceremony was also attended by YB Datuk Mohd Azis bin Jamman, Deputy
Home Minister; YB Puan Hannah Yeoh, Deputy Minister of Women, Family and
Community Development, YB Tuan Sivarasa a/l K. Rasiah, Deputy Minister of
Rural Development; and YBhg. Dato' Seri Alwi bin Hj. Ibrahim, Secretary-General
of the Home Ministry.
Every application for Malaysian citizenship must meet the requirements and
regulations, especially in relation to the period of residence, fluency in Malay
language and good behaviour.
