SUMMARY OF MINISTRIES Children, Disabled And Senior Citizens’ Day Celebration 2018
The Children, Disabled, and Senior Citizens’ Day 2018 which was held
concurrently during the year on 5 November 2018 attained its goal to create public
awareness on the importance of these groups of people in creating a harmonious
and happy society. The Department of Social Welfare (JKM) held am official
celebration at Putrajaya International Convention Center (PICC) which was
officiated by Dato' Seri Dr. Wan Azizah binti Dr. Wan Ismail, YAB Deputy Prime
Minister and Minister of Women, Family and Community Development. Also
present were YB Puan Hannah Yeoh, Deputy Minister of Women, Family and
Community Development as well as senior management officials of the ministry
and its departments and agencies
