YAB Dato' Seri Dr. Wan Azizah binti Dr. Wan Ismail, Deputy Prime Minister and
the Minister of Women, Family and Community Development (KPWKM) officiated
the National Family Month Celebration 2018 which was held on 3 November 2018
at Kompleks Keluarga LPPKN Seremban 2.
Also present were Datuk Dr. Rose Lena binti Lazemi, KPWKM Secretary-General
and top senior officials from departments and agencies. The event was open to
the public and featured activities such as sales and exhibitions as well as services
offered by departments and agencies. It is hoped that the services offered will
help residents and the public to acquire the services, information and assistance
from departments and agencies under the Ministry

Moral Officers And Protector Conference In Conjunction With Children’s
Day Celebration 2018
A conference on Moral Officers and Protectors was held in conjunction with
Children's Day 2018 celebration from 31 October to 1 November 2018. YB Puan
Hannah Yeoh, Deputy Minister of Women, Family and Community Development
officiated the event which was open to the public and civil servants for them to
better comprehend the needs and types of assistance that can be channelled,
while providing greater understanding for child protection services especially for
the minors. The conference had session on Question and Answer, handled by
Department of Social Welfare (JKM) that is responsible to protect and care for the
interests of the children.
