LEVEL UP KL BIZ 2019
LEVEL UP KL 2019 is an annual Southeast Asian digital games festival
which has become a platform in the region that brings together technology
providers, publishers and developers of local and international digital
games to learn and share the latest in content development technology and
business trends in the industry.
The government is concerned and committed to the development of the
gaming industry which has the potential to attract new investments as well
as assist the development of local companies and talents. In this regard, a
new policy is the Digital Content Ecosystem Policy (DICE).

LAUNCH OF NATIONAL FIBERISATION AND
CONNECTIVITY PLAN (NFCP)
Deputy Prime Minister, Dato’ Seri Dr. Wan Azizah Dr. Wan Ismail launched
the National Fiberisation and Connectivity Plan (NFCP) at Putrajaya
International Convention Center (PICC) on 19 September 2019.
NFCP is a five-year plan (2019-2023) to provide sustainable, comprehensive
and high quality and affordable digital connectivity for the wellbeing of the
people and the progress of the country. NFCP gives priority to the provision
of sustainable digital infrastructure based on fiber optic networks. Wireless
and satellite technology will be used to provide more people with access to
broadband services. NFCP promotes the participation of the rakyat in the
development of the digital economy as the country embraces Industrial
Revolution 4.0.
