RODUCTION
The Ministry of Energy, Science, Technology, Environment & Climate Change (MESTECC) was
formed in May 2018 following the restructuring of ministries after the 14th general election.
MESTECC combines the entire component of the Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation (MOSTI), Green Technology and Energy
Components from the Ministry of Energy, Green Technology and Water (KeTTHA) and the related components of Climate Change and
Environment from the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment (NRE).
MESTECC has since become a new ministry with extensive scope and functions, focusing on three major sectors namely Energy Science,
Technology and Innovation and Environment and Climate Change.

LAUNCH OF MESTECC INITIATIVES 2019
The Ministry of Energy, Science, Technology, Environment & Climate
Change (MESTECC) launched its initiatives for 2019, called MESTECC
Initiatives 2019 on 28 January 2019. Its minister, YB Puan Yeo Bee
Yin launched the 73 initiatives in the presence of some 900 attendees
comprising members of the House of Parliament, State Assemblies,
representatives from ministries and agencies and the public.
Themed “Own It. Do It. Ace It!”, the programme serves as a platform YB Puan Yeo Bee Yin, YB Puan Isnaraissah Munirah Majilis and management members
for the people of MESTECC to appreciate the initiatives while working of MESTECC with students from Sekolah Kebangsaan Putrajaya Precinct 18(1) in front
