Excellence Award Ceremony For Tabika Perpaduan And Taska Permata
Perpaduan
On 28 October 2018, PERPADUAN organised the national Excellence Award
Ceremony 2018 for Tabika Perpaduan and Taska Permata Perpaduan at Dewan
Reflessia, PERDA, Kubang Menerong, Tasik Gelugor, Penang. The ceremony
aimed at recognising the management of Tabika Perpaduan and Taska Permata
Perpaduan for their excellence in running both the tabika and taska.
The ceremony was in conjunction with Tabika Perpaduan Penang Creativity Day
held earlier in the morning. More than 1,500 people comprising kindergarten
teachers, nursery educators and parents attended the event. It was officiated by
the Deputy Minister in the Prime Minister's Department, YB Datuk Wira Dr.Md
Farid bin Md Rafik. Also present were the Director General of National Unity and
Integration, YBhg. Datuk Baharin bin Idris as well as the Department’s state
directors.
Five categories of awards were contested involving Tabika and Taska Permata
Perpaduan nationwide. The categories of awards for Tabika Perpaduan were
Best Preschool Teaching and Learning, Best Record Management and Best
Management. Meanwhile, the categories for Taska Permata Perpaduan were
Innovation Award and Best Management Award.
Other programmes were also held in addition to the award ceremony such as
choir performance of patriotic songs by teachers and assistant teachers of Tabika
Perpaduan Penang. There were also live and creative performances by
thestudents namely multicultural dance, Malay language storytelling, choral
speaking in English and Mandarin, reading of English newspaper clippings
anddance performance by 70 children of the tabika.
