RODUCTION
The Ministry of Domestic Trade and Consumer Affairs (KPDNHEP) was established on 27
October 1990.
The Ministry is committed in protecting the interest and rights of consumers. This includes the development of an ecosystem of consumers and
businesses that complement each other towards self-regulation, in line with the aspiration of a developed economy. Such an ecosystem is hoped to
produce mature and ethical conducts amongst consumers and businesses, resulting in an economically and socially balanced nation.
KPDNHEP formulates policies, strategies and reviews matters pertaining to the development of domestic trade, particularly in distributive trade and
consumerism sector.

ACHIEVEMENTS
KPDNHEP’S ORGANISATIONAL ANTI CORRUPTION
PLAN (OACP)
KPDNHEP is the first ministry to develop the Organisational Anti
Corruption Plan (OACP). Its minister Datuk Seri Saifuddin Nasution Ismail
launched the plan in Putrajaya on 22 October 2019. The OACP 2019-2023
reflects the ministry’s commitment to fight corruption in public sector
administration.
The OACP KPDNHEP attested the ministry’s commitment to realise one Launch of KPDNHEP’s Anti Corruption Policy on 19 March 2019 by YBhg. Datuk Muez
of the mandatory initiatives under “Strategy 2: Strengthen Effectiveness Abd Aziz.
