There are many different views regarding the Agriculture Mining &
origin of the name Perak. Some say that the name Quarrying
was taken from Bendahara Tun Perak who was 16.4%
from Melaka and others say that it was taken 0.6%
from the silvery shimmer produced by fish in the
water. Hence, the introduction of the state name
itself predicted the presence of tin, its precious
natural resources.
