National Celebration Of World No-tobacco Day 2018
May 31st is World No-Tobacco Day which is one of the compulsory celebrations
in the Ministry of Health's Malaysia calendar. In 2018, the theme selected by the
World Health Organisation (WHO) is 'Tobacco and Heart Disease' and the slogan
chosen by the Ministry of Health is 'Tobacco and Heart Disease - Towards a
Non-Smoking Generation'.
The celebration was officiated by YB Datuk Seri Dr. Dzulkefly bin Ahmad, Minister
of Health on 31 May 2018 at Main Lecture Hall, Faculty of Medicine and Health
Sciences, University Putra Malaysia.

YB Datuk Seri Dr. Dzulkefly bin Ahmad, Minister of Health officiated the launch gimmick by completing a
heart-shaped jigsaw puzzle during the launch of the National No-Tobacco Day 2018 under the slogan 'Tobacco

and Heart Disease - Towards a Non-Smoking Generation'
