SUMMARY OF MINISTRIES Village Entrepreneurship Technology and Innovation (INOTEKDESA) Expo
2018
The Ministry of Rural Development (KPLB) for the first time held the Village
Entrepreneruship Technology and Innovation Expo (INOTEKTDESA) 2018 from
15 to 18 November 2018 at Malacca International Trade Center (MITC), Ayer
Keroh, Malacca.
The launch of INOTEKDESA 2018, themed “Innovation: Driver of Quality
Products” was organised by the Minister of Rural Development and was officiated
by the Minister of Rural Development, YB Datuk Seri Rina binti Mohd Harun,
representing Deputy Prime Minister, YAB Dato’ Seri Dr. Wan Azizah binti Dr. Wan
Ismail. The expo serves as a platform to introduce new innovations, technologies,
applications and business models to produce more innovative, progressive and
competitive rural entrepreneurs.
INOTEKDESA also brought together rural entrepreneurs and technology
providers and innovators in the effort to improve productivity and produce better
quality products or services. The activities lined up include exhibitions on
innovation, technology, product and service sales, financing, and other visitor
attraction programmes.
