The Project for Vegetable Product Enhancement is an assistance programme by
the Department of Agriculture to help farmers in developing farming areas. It is
also to provide basic infrastructure for farming two types of vegetables, namely
vegetables fruits and leafy vegetables. One of the projects under the electricity
line that could be considered successful is the Bukit Damar Sepang Entrepreneur
Project, Selangor with an area of 15 hectares (60 acres).
Farmers who cultivate vegetable plants under TNB's electricity lines would be
offered with more incentives to increase their productivity. At the same time, they
will become examplary for other farmers to follow their steps.
